Questions about Iris phone interviews
Do I still interview candidates myself?
Yes. Iris runs the first interview. You read the answers, hold your own interview, check what you need to check, and decide who to hire.
What does Iris ask?
You set the questions with your HireBus team during setup. Put your deal-breakers in, such as pay, schedule and license, so they come up in the first few minutes. Iris asks everyone she interviews about the same requirements and follows up when an answer is thin, so you can compare answers side by side.
Will applicants talk to an AI?
Tyler, in the interview on this page, answered every question in full. Iris tells people what the call is for and how long it takes, so nobody is caught off guard.
Does Iris check licenses or references?
No. What an applicant says on the call is their own account. Check licenses, references, and practical skills yourself before you make an offer.
What does it cost?
Each plan includes a set number of scored candidates per month, and you can add credit packs if you need more. A scored candidate is not the same as an interview on your calendar or a hire. See plans and credits.
