Job ads written and run for you

If nobody good applies, check the ad. Most job ads read like a list of rules. Good workers have choices, and they pick the job that sounds worth having. Iris writes an ad that sells your job, and HireBus posts it and runs the campaign on the budget you set.

Same electrician job, two ads

Read them the way a good tech would: on a phone, on a lunch break, while they still have a job.

Electrician Wanted

West Electrical · Phoenix, AZ

1We are seeking an experienced electrician to join our team. Duties include troubleshooting, installs, and service calls.

2Requirements

  • Must have 3+ years of experience
  • Must have a valid license
  • Must have a clean driving record
  • Must pass a background check
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs

3Pay: DOE

4No phone calls, please.

  1. It opens with “we” and talks about the shop.
  2. Five rules come before one reason to apply.
  3. The pay hides behind “DOE.”
  4. It sounds like every other ad on the board.

Service Electrician $35–45/hr

West Electrical · Phoenix, AZ · Full time

1You'd rather fix it right than fix it twice. You like walking a homeowner through the repair so they trust what you did. And you want a shop that trains you and has your back on the hard calls.

2What you get

  • $35–45/hr for residential service work
  • A take-home van after 90 days
  • Training from a lead who has done the job

3What you need

  • A journeyman card and a clean driving record

4Apply in a few minutes. Iris with West Electrical will call you to talk about the job.

  1. It talks to “you” first.
  2. Pay and perks sit up front.
  3. The must-haves stay short.
  4. It tells them what happens next.

Three job ad myths that cost you hires

  • “Ads don't matter. Just post it on Indeed.”

The board is the same for everyone. A tech scrolling Indeed sees ad after ad that opens with “we are seeking.” Yours has to sound different to get read. A simple test: ask new applicants what caught their eye. When the message is right, they quote your ad back to you.

  • “I'm not a marketer.”

You don't need to be. You know the job and why people like working for you. Iris turns that into the ad.

  • “There are no good people out there.”

They exist, but many of them already have jobs. They aren't searching job boards, but they do scroll their feeds. An ad on a channel like Meta can reach them there.

What you get with every ad

Written to sell your job

Iris turns your role details into an ad that talks to the person you want, in four parts.

  1. 1Who you arethe hook
  2. 2What you getpay, perks, schedule
  3. 3What you needthe must-haves
  4. 4What happens nextIris calls

Questions about job ads

More answers on the FAQ page

Who writes the job ad?

Iris writes it from the details you give us: the role, pay range, location, schedule, must-haves, and what makes your company a good place to work. You read it and approve it before it runs. Start from a free job description template.

Who pays for the ads?

You do, directly. Ad spend is separate from your HireBus plan and goes to the ad platforms. You set a budget for each role. See plans and costs.

I already post on Indeed. What changes?

You can keep posting there. During setup, your HireBus team works out with you where applications land and how those applicants get to Iris for an interview.

Will a better ad guarantee a hire?

No. A better ad gives the right people a reason to apply. No plan guarantees a hire.
