Dental - Chief Executive Officer

1. Position Summary

You'll lead a dental group of eight to ten practices and the central office that supports them. You set the growth plan, raise and manage capital, decide which practices to open or buy, and build the leadership team. You also keep clinical decisions in the hands of licensed dentists.

2. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Set the group's long-term plan: which markets to grow in, and whether to open new practices or buy existing ones.
• Raise and manage capital with banks and investors, and report results to the owners or board.
• Hire and lead the COO, CFO, Clinical Director and Marketing Manager, and set clear goals for each.
• Lead talks with dentists selling their practices, from first meeting through closing, with the CFO and outside advisors.

Dental - Dental Assistant

1. Position Summary

You'll work chairside with our dentists at one of our practices. You set up and turn over operatories, assist during procedures, take x-rays and scans where your state allows, and help nervous patients feel at ease. You keep the dentist's day on time and every procedure note complete.

2. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Seat patients, review health history updates, and prepare them for the dentist.
• Set up and break down operatories, and disinfect surfaces and equipment between patients.
• Assist chairside with four-handed dentistry: pass instruments, run suction, mix materials, and light-cure where your state allows.
• Take radiographs, intraoral photos, scans and impressions within your state's scope of practice for dental assistants.

Dental - Front Desk Coordinator

1. Position Summary

You'll run the front desk at one of our dental practices. You check patients in and out, verify insurance before visits, collect payments, and keep the schedule full: production blocks for larger treatment, new-patient slots and hygiene recall. You're the first and last person patients see, and you protect their privacy under HIPAA.

2. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Check patients in and out, and update contact details, health history forms and HIPAA acknowledgments.
• Verify insurance eligibility before each visit, and send new or changed plans to the insurance and billing coordinator for a full breakdown.
• Book appointments into the right schedule blocks: production time for larger treatment, new patients, emergencies and hygiene.
• Collect each patient's estimated portion at checkout, post payments, and explain balances.

Dental - Regional Operations Manager

1. Position Summary

You'll oversee [four or five] of our dental practices and coach the practice managers who run them. You spend most of the week inside the practices, fixing schedule, staffing and collection problems before they grow. You own the region's results and carry group standards into every office. Clinical questions go to the Clinical Director.

2. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Coach the practice managers in your region with regular one-on-ones and practice visits, and hold them to their goals.
• Review each practice's profit and loss with the CFO and agree on fixes when a practice falls behind plan.
• Move hygienists, assistants and front office staff between practices to cover open shifts.
• Audit practices for OSHA, infection control, HIPAA, cash handling and schedule templates, and follow up on gaps.
